Lindsey Bolger joined Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. in September of 2001 and has been working in coffee since 1987. As Vice President of Coffee Sourcing and Excellence, her duties within the coffee function involve leading coffee procurement strategies, including sourcing, contracting, and planning. In addition, she leads new product development for our core coffee products as well as quality assurance. She works in support of Keurig’s mission to develop direct relationships with the coffee farmers and coffee producing communities, helping to ensure coffee quality while working to improve the quality of life for those involved in coffee growing and processing.
Lindsey is committed to building awareness for coffee quality and sharing her passion and industry knowledge with the industry, consumers, and other stakeholders. Lindsey has shared her coffee expertise as a learned resource and public speaker, addressing topics including the art and science of coffee roasting, coffee quality, strategies for coffee sourcing, and sustainable growing practices at origin. She has led dozens of coffee tasting and evaluation workshops and has served as an instructor for roaster training programs.
Lindsey travels extensively in the coffee-producing world, and is an internationally recognized coffee taster. As a member of the “Cup of Excellence” international jury, she has participated in competitions in Brazil, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama, with the goal of seeking and rewarding excellence in coffee.
Lindsey is a Certified Q Grader, has served on the Specialty Coffee Association of America’s Board of Directors and is as long-standing member of SCAA’s Environment Committee. She is also the Chair of World Coffee Research, a leading industry-based organization that helps ensure the sustainable supply of high quality coffee through collaborative agricultural research and development.
